Okay, so do you ever have those episodes or short periods of time where life just grabs you around the ankles and flips you upside down? Last week was one of them. I went from being home with my boys for eight weeks to working everyday last week. The boys went from sleeping, playing, seeing their daddy everyday at their house to dropping in for a quick change of clothes here and there. I must admit, the boys did well up until Thursday when their behavior began to reflect our madness. Tias, who was highly emotional, would consistently whine "mama, mama" and point to his favorite nursing chair at Grammy and Grampy's. Jonas was just acting like a "wildman" (more so than usual) and eventually ended up splitting his lip. The day didn't get any better when I went back for "Back to School Night" that night. I kept telling myself, "One more day, one more day." The week finally ended, only to be topped off with a little stomach flu for me.
Oh, and the house, a mess! We have decided to remove a wall heater from the living room (we should have done it the first time we drywalled that room) and the sanding should start on Monday. Woody's sinuses are a mess, he's replaced the filter 5 times and is not liking this whole situation, but we are both looking forward to a nice "fresh" kitchen.

Here's why the boys and I are staying at Grammy and Grampy's:
Take note of the floor
Try keeping my boys out of a "work site". They just get their tools and try helping.
