Boots are great for The Compound. We've got more dirt here than you can probably imagine. Dirt is an enemy I face daily...whether it be on my porch, covering my floor, flying off my dogs, sticking to every part of my boys...the battle is never ending. I buy the boys boots to help with the dirt. So why is it they want to wear them to school, church, the store, Target or the library? Those places aren't covered in dirt. The second I try to put on Tias' Converse, he screams and points to "the boots". Let's face it, we moms pick our battles and sometimes, "Boots it is!"
