Tias is talking so much. He rarely puts more than two words together except for when he says, "I want mommy!" Every once in a while he speaks giberish. We talk giberish back and he cracks up.
This is him and his jeep. Actually we've had it for quite some time. Before he was born in fact. Jonas would play with it and now it doesn't even make the cool noises it used to, but Tias believes it's his and only his. The boys are pretty good about sharing toys. But Tias does not share the jeep. If Jonas comes close to it, he flips out. Jonas has picked up on this pretty quickly. Being and older brother, he finds this as the perfect opportunity to "annoy" his little brother. He finds joy in pretending to "want" a turn with the jeep. It causes complete chaos and I just take deep breaths.
Hard to believe this little guy could be so annoying....I think not.
But, when all is said and done, they love being brothers. When Jonas is upset and crying, Tias tries to give him hugs. If Jonas is sitting in a chair because he has made a bad choice, Tias sits with him. If Tias is upset because the boys have can't have a treat, Jonas says, "Just give him a bite momma." At the park, Jonas always tells the friend he has befriended, "This is my brother." It's these little things that make my heart smile.
